Iranian authorities have announced the discovery of a large gas field in the southern province of Fars, according to Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad.

According to preliminary estimates, the field's total gas reserves amount to approximately 212 billion cubic meters, with recoverable reserves estimated at 161 billion cubic meters. Experts also reported the presence of significant gas condensate reserves.

According to the minister, the development of the field could bring the country tens of billions of dollars.
