The winner of the Turkmenistan mental arithmetic championship won a trip to Vietnam

The "Anzan" Mental Arithmetic Championship of Turkmenistan was held within the framework of the "Kids Expo: Everything for Children" international exhibition and fair.

Around 120 schoolchildren aged 6 to 14 from across the country took part in the competition. Following intense intellectual contests, 24 students secured top places, and five managed to set new national records, reports "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."

Emrah Shamuradov, a 7th-grade student at the boarding school attached to Secondary School No. 9 in the city of Turkmenabat, Lebap velayat, took first place in the overall standings.

Second place went to Ybrayym Kerimov, a fifth-grade student at Secondary School No. 41 in Ashgabat.

Third place was awarded to Kerim Gahrymanov, a fourth-grade student at Secondary School No. 3 in the Sayat etrap of Lebap velayat.

In addition, another 21 schoolchildren took first, second, and third place in their respective age categories.

Winners who took top places and students who set new records were presented with commemorative gifts and laptops by the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan.

The participant who achieved the highest score and the instructor who trained them in the "Anzan" mental arithmetic program were ceremoniously presented with a certificate for a seven-day trip to Vietnam.

School students who set new national records were awarded certificates for a five-day stay at the "Awaza" National Tourist Zone.

The competition was jointly organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization, the country’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the "Kämil bilim" and "Zehin ýoly" educational centers.
