The signing of the document marks the 30th anniversary of cooperation between Malaysia's Petronas and Turkmenistan and creates important conditions for the further development of partnerships in education and vocational training, the implementation of new joint initiatives and projects, and the creation of additional opportunities to improve the education and professional qualifications of young people.
To date, approximately 20 cooperation documents have been signed between Turkmenistan and Malaysia in the field of education.
The long-standing, fruitful work of the Malaysian company Petronas in Turkmenistan is a shining example of the long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries. With Petronas' support, Turkmen youth are regularly provided scholarships to study at prestigious higher education institutions in Malaysia.
