On August 20, a conference for Turkmen and foreign students of the Euphrosyne of Polotsk State University was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Minsk.
Turkmenistan's Ambassador to the Republic of Belarus, Nazarguly Shagulyev, addressed the youth with a welcoming address. He outlined the key stages of strengthening sovereignty and developing regional diplomacy over a 35-year period and noted President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's efforts to expand international educational dialogue.
The ambassador reminded participants of the upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslahaty, which will be held on September 23 in Ashgabat under the chairmanship of National Leader of the Turkmen People Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The meeting will determine the main directions of social and economic policy.
Within the framework of the cultural portion of the meeting, the students visited an exhibition in the embassy's greenhouse, featuring museum artifacts and photographs depicting ancient architecture and modern cities of Turkmenistan. The program concluded with a video screening about the country's technological and infrastructural achievements.
