The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has released the schedule for the 2026/27 AFC Challenge League group stage matches. Group “A” matches, which include Turkmenistan's “Ahal”, will be held in a centralized format in Bhutan.

As a reminder, during the tournament draw, which took place at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), “Ahal” was assigned to group “A” of the “West” zone along with “Al-Ansar” (Lebanon), “Al-Ittihad” (Syria) and “Paro” (Bhutan).

Based on the results of the group stage, eight teams will advance to the quarterfinals of the tournament. The playoff matches will be played on the road: quarter-finals in March, semi-finals in April, and the final is scheduled for May 8, 2027.
