Representatives of Turkmenistan will act as observers at the elections to the Kurultai of Kazakhstan

Representatives of Turkmenistan have been accredited as observers of the Kurultai elections, which are scheduled for August 23 in Kazakhstan.

As Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission Mukhtar Yerman noted, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan has submitted 121 observer nominations from 18 foreign countries and 5 international organizations to the Central Election Commission for accreditation. This was reported on the CIS Executive Committee website.

“Including 8 people from the CIS Observer Mission, 4 candidates from the CIS IPA, 7 observers from the OSCE ODIHR Mission, 6 candidates from the SCO Mission, 3 observers from the Turkic Academy. “There will also be 93 observers from countries such as China, the United States, Thailand, Great Britain, Türkiye, Mongolia, India, Indonesia, France, Iraq, Slovakia, Uzbekistan, the Philippines, Japan, Belgium, Jordan, Serbia, and Turkmenistan,” Yerman explained, noting that the accreditation of international observers ended on August 17.
