Construction of the new building complex of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction in Ashgabat has entered its final stages. Landscaping and improvement work is underway on the area adjacent to the university along Gorogly street, reports a Turkmenportal correspondent.
The complex is designed to accommodate 5000 students and is equipped with modern technology. In addition to the institute buildings themselves, construction includes the renovation and installation of new utilities—electricity, gas, water, communications, and sewerage—with connection to the citywide grid.
The new university will be located adjacent to the Ex Baza residential area. Last year, the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs opened on this same street, and now Gorogly street is gradually becoming one of the capital's educational zones.
Construction of the Institute of Architecture and Construction began in September 2023. The opening of the educational institution is scheduled for September 1.
