Dato' Syed Hasrin Tengku Hussin, Deputy Secretary-General for Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, received Ismadi Ismail, Chief Executive Officer of PETRONAS Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn. Bhd. (PC(T)SB), on a courtesy visit on August 10, 2026.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the main areas of PETRONAS's activities in Turkmenistan, as well as the progress of implementing bilateral agreements in the oil and gas sector reached during the official visit of the Malaysian Prime Minister to Turkmenistan. Special attention was paid to the participation of Malaysian companies in the 31st International Exhibition and Conference “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan” (OGT 2026).
