Ten Turkmen schoolchildren performed brilliantly in the international competition “iWISE Global Final London 2026”, which took place in London from August 2 to 7.

According to Turkmenistan: Golden Age, the Turkmen team won 10 medals across all stages of the competition – 6 gold and 4 silver.

Gold medals were awarded to Resulberdi Orazberdiyev, Salih Kakalyev and Resul Geldiyev (students of Specialized Secondary School No. 97 in Ashgabat), Selim Begmuradov (Secondary School No. 7 in Ashgabat), Nurmurat Kulov (Specialized Secondary School No. 87 in Ashgabat), and Malikmurat Annamuradov (1st Specialized Military School named after Berdimuhamed Annayev of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan).

The winners of silver medals were Salih Altiyev (Specialized Secondary School No. 97 in Ashgabat), Rozymurat Yagshymuradov (Specialized Secondary School No. 13 in Ashgabat), Ebubekir Berdiyev (Specialized Secondary School No. 3 in Arkadag) and Umyt Atamuradov (Specialized Secondary School No. 2 in Arkadag).

Five participants from Turkmenistan demonstrated an exceptional level of preparation, receiving the honorary title of “Best of the Best” and special cash prizes.

We previously reported that schoolchildren from Turkmenistan traveled to the UK for the iWISEВ competition. Students from 25 countries participated in this large-scale intellectual competition.
