The 15th round of the Turkmenistan Football Championship among Premier League clubs opens on Thursday, August 6. The first match of the round between “Arkadag” and “Merv” will officially kick off the second round of the national championship.

The match will take place at “Nisa” stadium in Ashgabat, with kickoff scheduled for 18:15. Arkadag had a phenomenal first half, posting a 100% record: 14 wins in 14 matches. Vladimir Bayramov's team comfortably leads the table with 42 points, 12 ahead of their nearest rival.

This away match will be a serious test for “Merv”. The Mary club currently sits in fourth place with 14 points. Despite being the favorite against “Arkadag”, “Merv” needs to cling to points to keep their mid-table rivals, where the table is very crowded, at bay.

The main program of the tour will continue on Friday, August 7, with three matches. The focus will be on the distant battle for silver between “Ahal” and “Altyn Asyr”.

“Ahal”, currently in second place with 30 points, will host “Kopetdag” at “Nisa” stadium (18:15). The visitors are currently in seventh place with 11 points. They must avoid slipping up, as their lead over third place is just one point.

Hot on the heels of “Ahal” is “Altyn Asyr” (29 points). At 18:00, the "Signalmen" will face Ashgabat at the “Sport Toplumy” stadium in Buzmeyin etrap. The situation for the nominal visitors looks troubling: the club is at the bottom of the standings with 10 points, having suffered 10 losses in 14 matches.

At 18:30 in Turkmenbashy, local team “Shagadam” and Balkanabat's “Nebitchi” will face off. This matchup is crucial for both teams: “Nebitchi” (13 points) is in 5th place, while “Shagadam” (12 points) is just behind in 6th. The winner of this match will be able to significantly strengthen their position in the championship's midfield.
