A meeting dedicated to the industry's performance for January-July was held yesterday at the central building of Turkmenistan's oil and gas complex, as reported on the “Oil and Gas” website.
Opening the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Guvanch Agajanov noted that the country has created conditions for modernizing the sector: capacity is being upgraded, and modern equipment and technologies are being introduced.
The heads of key organizations, including “Türkmennebit”, “Türkmengaz”, “Türkmengeologiýa”, and TAPI Pipeline Company Ltd., delivered presentations.
Particular attention was paid to the construction of the “Serhetabat-Herat” section of the TAPI gas pipeline, emphasizing the need to comply with international standards.
The meeting also discussed industry development objectives, including intensifying geological exploration and drilling, improving production quality, diversifying export routes, and improving working conditions for specialists.
In summing up, Deputy Prime Minister G. Agajanov emphasized the importance of monitoring the implementation of investment projects, digitalizing processes, and implementing plans while taking seasonal factors into account, giving specific instructions to industry leaders.
