Members of the Turkmen government went on leave on August 1. They will be able to rest and improve their health at the country's sanatoriums and the “Awaza” National Tourist Zone. This was announced by Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, speaking at a regular Cabinet meeting, TDH reports.

"Managers' vacations begin on August 1st. They will be able to improve their health at the country's sanatoriums and the “Awaza” National Tourist Zone," the head of state noted.

As previously reported, the exception was the heads of the agricultural complex and velayat hakims - they traditionally go on vacation in late autumn, after the completion of cotton harvesting.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that good results have been achieved in the first seven months of this year, with programs aimed at developing the country and reforming all sectors of the economy being successfully implemented. According to him, the GDP growth rate during this period remained stable at 6,3%. The head of state also noted that the country continues to build large industrial facilities, new settlements, residential buildings, schools, and kindergartens.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the adopted programs must be effectively implemented to further develop the country. A number of other public issues were also discussed at the meeting, and relevant decisions were made.

Concluding the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan wished the participants good health, family well-being, and success in their work for the benefit of the country.
