Major repairs are underway on a gas pipeline in the Gubadag etrap of western Turkmenistan

The unified gas system of the Gubadag etrap of the Balkan velayat includes more than 14150 km of gas pipelines of various diameters and pressures, as well as more than 450 units of gas regulating and gas distribution equipment.

Since the beginning of this year, inspection, restoration, and major repairs of gas pipelines have been carried out in accordance with the approved plan in the city of Gubadag and seven gengeshliks: Bereketli, Amu Darya, Abadanlyk, Gokchage, Baydak, Bitarap Turkmenistan, and Yashlyk, as reported on the Oil and Gas website.

Preparations for the autumn-winter season have already been completed for the 219 mm diameter medium-pressure gas pipeline from the Abadanlyk gengeshlik to the Amu Darya gengeshlik, the 273 mm diameter gas pipeline from the Baydak gengeshlik to the Yekederek village of the Gokyayla gengeshlik, and the 159 mm diameter medium-pressure gas pipeline in the Bitarap Turkmenistan gengeshlik.

Seasonal inspection, support replacement, and painting of 89mm and 114mm diameter gas pipelines in the Gokyayla district are currently ongoing, the source notes.
