The Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan has released its weather forecast for the coming week. According to the agency, temperatures in the country will range from 20°C at night to 42°C during the day.

Balkan velayat

Partly cloudy skies are expected, with partly cloudy skies and rain expected early in the week. Northwesterly winds, shifting to easterly, will reach 9-14 m/s, reaching 12-17 m/s in places. Overnight highs will reach 22-32°C, daytime highs will reach 37-42°C, and coastal areas will reach 33-38°C.

Ahal velayat

Partly cloudy, with rain expected early in the week. Northwesterly winds shifting to easterly at 8-13 m/s, reaching 12-17 m/s in places. Overnight temperatures will range from 21 to 31 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs ranging from 33 to 41 degrees Celsius.

Mary velayat

Partly cloudy. Northeast wind 8-13 m/s, up to 11-16 m/s in places. Nighttime highs: 21-29°C, daytime highs: 33-42°C.

Lebap velayat

Partly cloudy. Northeast wind 8-13 m/s, up to 12-17 m/s in places. Nighttime highs: 20-29°C, daytime highs: 32-42°C.

Dashoguz velayat

Partly cloudy, partly cloudy midweek. Northwesterly winds shifting to easterly, 7-12 m/s, reaching 11-16 m/s in places. Overnight highs: 20-28°C, daytime highs: 32-40°C.

Ashgabat

Partly cloudy skies are expected in the capital, with partly cloudy skies and light rain expected early in the week. Northwesterly winds, shifting to easterly, will gust at 10-13 m/s, reaching 14-16 m/s in places. Overnight temperatures will reach 23-30°C, and daytime highs will reach 35-41°C.

Thus, the highest temperature this week is forecast in the Mary and Lebap velayats, as well as in Ashgabat – up to +42 degrees during the day, and the lowest – in the Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, up to +20 degrees at night.
