In Turkmenistan, television and radio channels will produce special programs and documentaries, and popular science articles on the importance of international law will be published in the press.

A multilingual internet portal or special information section dedicated to the Year of International Law will also be created.

The Ashgabat International Platform "International Law" will be established on the basis of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This structure will become a permanent academic and diplomatic platform for the study of international law and regular exchange of views between international experts in this field. This platform will facilitate the annual Ashgabat International Legal Dialogue and summer schools for young legal scholars.

These proposals, submitted by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R. Meredov at a meeting of the country's government, aimed at the practical implementation of the provisions of the UN General Assembly Resolution proclaiming 2028 the Year of International Law, as well as clarifying the content of Turkmenistan's international initiative in this area, were approved by the head of state, TDH reports.
