Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov participated in the third meeting of senior officials of the “Central Asia-Republic of Korea” Cooperation Forum, which was held on July 31 in Astana, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Participants discussed preparations for the upcoming “Central Asia – Republic of Korea” Summit, including the draft final document.
In his speech, Ahmet Gurbanov reaffirmed Turkmenistan's commitment to further strengthening multilateral cooperation within the Forum, noting that its holding is important for further strengthening cooperation between the states of the region and the Republic of Korea.
That same day, he met with Ms. Chung Eui-hae, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea. The two sides discussed current issues related to preparations for the “Central Asia–Republic of Korea” Summit.
