The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the United Arab Emirates Bayram Bayramov held a meeting with the Managing Director of the World Government Summit Organization Mohammed Al-Sharhan, during which the parties discussed the prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation.

According to the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic mission, the interlocutors noted the successful holding of the 2026 World Government Summit and the participation of the Turkmen delegation. They emphasized the role of the initiatives put forward by the Turkmen side during the summit and subsequently supported by the UN General Assembly.

The parties discussed possible thematic areas for further cooperation, including in the areas of neutrality, sustainable development, transport, and connectivity.

Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the 2023 Memorandum of Understanding on the exchange of experience in public administration, as well as the participation of Turkmen specialists in UAE programs on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
