Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Ashgabat-based home front worker Tanya Mushegovna Avakova on her 98th birthday. The press service of the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan reported this.

"On July 29, Ashgabat-based home front worker Tanya Mushegovna Avakova turned 98. On this occasion, Russian diplomats visited her and presented her with a congratulatory message from Russian President Vladimir Putin," the statement reads.

It is noted that during the Great Patriotic War, Avakova helped the front by working at one of Ashgabat's light industry enterprises, which produced clothing and uniforms for military personnel.

The Russian Embassy congratulated Tanya Mushegovna on her birthday and wished her good health, prosperity, and longevity.
