Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Chairman of the State Organizing Committee of Turkmenistan T. Atahalliyev is on a working visit to the city of Kroonenberg (Netherlands), where preparations are underway for Ahal-Teke horses to participate in the World Equestrian Championships and a beauty contest, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) reports.

According to the agency, the Turkmen delegation is meeting with local horse breeders and international experts to discuss the selection and design of a venue for national-style competitions, as well as the organization of the events.

During the visit, a presentation of the venue for international events took place: the parties discussed the placement of design elements and information materials in accordance with modern standards.

TDH notes that local experts emphasized the importance of exchanging experience in horse breeding, including methods of raising and training Ahal-Teke horses.

The art of Ahal-Teke horse breeding and the tradition of horse decoration are included in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
