At the “Gara Altyn” (Black Gold) children's health center of the “Turkmennebit” State Concern, located near the village of Hazar in the city of Balkanabat, children of specialists and employees of enterprises and institutions in the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan spend their time actively and usefully.

According to "Turkmenistan: Golden Age," 400 children relax and improve their health here during each summer season.

The children are offered study groups, and various creative competitions and sports events are held.

The modern children's center features state-of-the-art office and utility rooms, a cafeteria, a reading room, recreation rooms, computer labs, exercise rooms, and sports fields. It is fully equipped for hosting musical performances and cultural events.
