Uzbekistan is ready to expand industrial cooperation, exchange technologies, establish joint ventures, and increase mutual product supplies with Turkmenistan. This was stated by Uzbek Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ravshanbek Alimov, speaking at the Turkmen-Uzbek business forum in Ashgabat.

"Uzbekistan is open to expanding industrial cooperation, technology exchange, the creation of joint ventures, and increasing mutual supplies of specific products with fraternal Turkmenistan," he said.

The diplomat thanked the Turkmen side for organizing the event and the traditionally warm welcome to the Uzbek delegation, noting that favorable conditions had been created for productive dialogue between the business communities of the two countries. According to him, more than twenty leading Uzbek companies and the same number of Turkmen business representatives are participating in the forum, confirming their mutual interest in expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation.

Alimov emphasized that, thanks to the policies of both countries' leaderships, relations between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan are developing successfully in all areas and have reached the level of strategic partnership. The ambassador identified industrial cooperation in the production of construction materials as one of the most promising areas, given the large-scale construction and modernization programs being implemented in Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

According to the diplomat, the forum is primarily focused on holding specific meetings and negotiations between entrepreneurs. He named the production of construction and paint materials, sandwich panels and metal structures, decorative raw materials and tile products, non-metallic mineral products, profiles and fittings, rubber products, metal thermal insulation products, cast iron, steel and ferroalloys, self-tapping screws, and plastic products as priority areas of cooperation.

The ambassador expressed confidence that the forum will enable participants to establish new business contacts, conclude mutually beneficial agreements, and give additional impetus to the development of the Turkmen-Uzbek strategic partnership.
