The State Hydrometeorology Service of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan has presented the country's weather forecast for the coming week.
In the Balkan velayat, the weather will be partly cloudy, with northwesterly winds shifting to the east at 8–13 m/s, increasing to 12–17 m/s in places. Overnight temperatures will range from 22–27°C to 28–33°C, with daytime highs reaching 38–43°C, and 35–40°C in coastal areas.
In the Ahal velayat, the sky will be partly cloudy, with northwesterly winds shifting to the east at 8-13 m/s, gusting to 11-16 m/s. Overnight highs are expected to reach 21-26°C, with local highs reaching 27-32°C, and daytime highs ranging from 34-39°C to 39-44°C.
In the Mary velayat, the weather will be partly cloudy, with northeasterly winds at 7–12 m/s, gusting to 11–16 m/s. Overnight temperatures will range from 21–26°C, reaching 25–30°C in places, and daytime highs from 35–40°C to 38–43°C.
The Lebap velayat is expected to see partly cloudy skies and northeasterly winds at 8–13 m/s, gusting to 12–17 m/s. Overnight temperatures will range from 20–25°C, reaching 26–31°C in places, and daytime highs will range from 34–39°C to 39–44°C.
In the Dashoguz velayat, the sky will be partly cloudy, with northeasterly winds at 7–12 m/s, gusting to 10–15 m/s. Overnight temperatures will be between 20–25°C, with local highs reaching 25–30°C, and daytime highs from 33–38°C to 38–43°C.
Ashgabat is expected to see partly cloudy skies, with northwesterly winds shifting to the east at 10–13 m/s, gusting to 14–16 m/s. Overnight temperatures will range from 23–25°C, reaching 28–30°C in places, and daytime highs will range from 37–39°C to 40–42°C.
