In August, Turkmenistan will host various celebrations, exhibitions, conferences, and awareness-raising events within the framework of its 35th anniversary of independence.

Deputy Prime Minister B. Seyidova reported this at a meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan.

During the summer holidays, it is planned to hold cultural events, creative and intellectual competitions, sports competitions, art readings, and national game competitions among children.

Field seminars on the role of historical monuments in the study of material and cultural heritage will be organized in historical and cultural monument complexes, and the Kopetdag State Nature Reserve will host the forum "Köpetdagyň tebigy gözellikleri".

In addition, the final rounds of the television competition for young amateur performers "Ýaňlan, Diýarym!" will be held in the Lebap and Mary velayats, and the final round of the creative competition "Çalsana, bagşy!" will be held.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to properly prepare for the events scheduled for August of this year and ensure a high level of their organization, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
