In order to ensure the rational use of mineral resources in Turkmenistan, measures are being taken to carry out geological exploration work for rare minerals in accordance with international practice.

Effective cooperation with leading foreign companies is being established in this area. Deputy Prime Minister G. Agajanov reported on this at the Government meeting on July 24, submitting a corresponding proposal to the head of state for consideration.

President Serdar Berdymukhamedov, having approved a proposal to establish international cooperation in the field of underground resource exploration, instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out the necessary work, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
