National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a telephone conversation with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during which he congratulated him on his birthday, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reported.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished the Uzbek leader good health, longevity and success in government activities, and also conveyed congratulations from the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

In turn, Mirziyoyev thanked the National Leader of the Turkmen people for her warm words and noted that the bilateral partnership, founded on traditional ties of friendship and mutual understanding between the countries, had reached a qualitatively new level. The President of Uzbekistan asked him to convey his greetings to Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

"On such a significant day, people talk about successes, good results, noble undertakings, and plans. And you have all of this," said Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, noting that Mirziyoyev's state policies are yielding results and contributing to the development of the spiritual, cultural, and economic potential of the Uzbek people.
