Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov took part in the 13th meeting of the "European Union-Central Asia" High-Level Political and Security Dialogue, which took place on July 16 in Brussels.

Participants discussed current issues of regional and international security, prospects for further cooperation between the countries of Central Asia and the European Union, as well as the practical implementation of joint initiatives in strengthening resilience, ensuring security, border management, countering modern challenges and threats, and developing connectivity and multilateral cooperation.

Ahmet Gurbanov emphasized that the "Central Asia-European Union" cooperation format is of significant interest to Turkmenistan as an effective mechanism for uniting the potential of regional states and the European Union in the interests of sustainable development, expanding connectivity, and strengthening regional security.
