The regional stage of the national contest "Gülüň owadan" ("Beautiful Is Your Pattern!"), featuring craftswomen who create felt carpets ("koshmas"), took place in Lebap velayat.

According to "Turkmenistan: Golden Age", the contest participants competed in three categories: sharing the secrets of their craft, a practical masterclass, and song traditions ("aydyshyk") associated with felt-making.

After evaluating the finished works and creative performances of the craftswomen, the jury determined the winners of the velayat stage.

Craftswomen from the Sayat etrap—Mayagozel Yazkulyeva and Maysa Yazmuradova—took first place, earning the right to represent the region in the final stage of the competition.

Second place was awarded to representatives of the Dovletli etrap—Shemshat Kuvvatova and Gulruh Mominova.

Skilled participants from the Kerki etrap—Nursoltan Annadurdyeva and Oguljuma Agamyradova—took a well-deserved third place.
