Participants of the "Eurasia 2026" Youth Academy in Seoul were introduced to the history, culture, and traditions of Turkmenistan.
An information and cultural event was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea, in cooperation with the Secretariat of the Korea–Central Asia Cooperation Forum, and was held at the Secretariat’s offices ahead of the first Central Asia–Republic of Korea Summit scheduled for September 2026.
Participants were briefed on Turkmenistan’s state structure and its foreign policy of permanent neutrality, and were also presented with information on the country’s development programs, including the construction of the modern "smart" city of Arkadag.
As the embassy noted, special attention was paid to events marking 2026, which Turkmenistan has declared the "The Year of Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses." Within its framework, a number of cultural, educational, and health initiatives and events in the field of sustainable development are being carried out in the country.

Following the presentation, participants viewed an exhibition prepared by the embassy, which featured items of Turkmen national clothing, musical instruments, carpets, and traditional sweets.
