Last year, approximately 17 thousand students were admitted to higher education institutions in Turkmenistan. In 2026, this figure will exceed 18 thousand —meaning an additional 1239 students will be admitted. This was reported by the "Turkmenistan" newspaper.

As we previously reported, admission plans for higher education institutions and vocational schools for the new academic year have already been approved in Turkmenistan.

The admissions campaign will take place in the country from July 13 to August 24. Entrance exams for applicants will be held at the locations of the respective educational institutions.
