At an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to the results of the first half of the year, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a directive. According to the document, the composition of the state commission for admissions to higher and secondary specialized educational institutions of Turkmenistan in 2026 has been approved, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reported.
As noted, the State Commission is charged with providing organizational and methodological guidance for admissions to the country’s higher and specialized secondary educational institutions in 2026, as well as ensuring that the process is conducted in the prescribed manner.
The hakimlik of the velayats, the city of Ashgabat, and the city of Arkadag have been instructed to create the necessary conditions for the proper functioning of working groups responsible for admissions to higher and secondary specialized educational institutions.
Also, in accordance with the directive signed by the Head of State, the following have been approved:
admission plan for higher education institutions in Turkmenistan for 2026, broken down by velayats, the city of Ashgabat, and the city of Arkadag;
admission plan for secondary specialized educational institutions in Turkmenistan for 2026.
It has been decreed that admissions to higher and specialized secondary educational institutions in Turkmenistan in 2026 are to take place between July 13 and August 24, with entrance examinations held at the locations of the respective institutions.
