President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has dismissed Artykguly Hojaberdiyev from the post of editor-in-chief of the "Nesil" newspaper "for serious shortcomings in his work." The State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports this.

Hallygozel Shanazarova has been appointed editor-in-chief of the "Nesil" newspaper for a six-month probationary period.

The Head of State signed the relevant decrees during an expanded government meeting reviewing the results of the first six months of 2026.
