Art Nokady will host a lecture titled "Secrets of Old Nisa — Residence of the Parthian Kings"

On July 23, the Art Nokady creative space will host a lecture titled "Secrets of Old Nisa—Residence of the Parthian Kings," dedicated to one of Central Asia's most significant archaeological sites. The session will be led by archaeologist Aydogdy Kurbanov, a specialist in the history and culture of pre-Islamic Central Asia.

During the lecture, the audience will learn about the role this ancient residence played in the history of the Parthian Empire, the mysteries of this unique complex that remain subjects of scholarly debate, and how modern archaeological discoveries are helping to lift the veil of mystery surrounding the region's past.

Aydogdy Kurbanov is the author of numerous scholarly publications and a participant in international research projects. His work focuses on the history of the Parthian Kingdom, the archaeology of Turkmenistan, and the cultural connections between the ancient states of Central Asia.

The lecture will begin at 18:30. The ticket price is 300 manats.
