During an internship in Turkmenistan, Korean students studied the country's language and culture

These days, a summer internship for students from Kangwon National University took place within the walls of the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages.

This visit, organized within the framework of a previously signed agreement between the two universities, was a clear demonstration of both sides' commitment to strengthening academic ties and providing young people with unique opportunities to immerse themselves in a new linguistic and cultural environment, reports the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.

The summer internship for Korean students provided them with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the Turkmen language and culture and become familiar with the teaching methods used at the university. Meanwhile, TNIWL students and faculty had the opportunity to exchange experiences with representatives of the Korean academic community.

"The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and the subsequent internship for Korean students was an important step toward strengthening cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea," says Ogulsabyr Berdiyeva, a lecturer at Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages. "This agreement has opened up new opportunities for academic exchange, joint research, and the training of highly qualified specialists capable of making a significant contribution to the development of both countries. Our students and faculty have welcomed their Korean colleagues with great enthusiasm."We are confident that this exchange of experience has laid the foundation for long-term and fruitful cooperation that will benefit both countries and serve to strengthen the friendship between our peoples.
