Turkmen Ambassador Sapar Palvanov met with Damen Shipyards' management at the headquarters of the Dutch company Damen Shipyards, one of the world's leading shipbuilding companies. This was reported on the website of the Turkmen Embassy in Belgium.

The parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation, including the possibility of jointly building ships at the shipyard of the International Seaport of Turkmenbashy.

Particular attention was paid to further cooperation in the field of dredging, as Damen Shipyards has significant practical experience and already has a successful history of cooperation with Turkmenistan in this area.

Damen Shipyards representatives were invited to participate in organizing business events with the heads of large Dutch companies interested in the Turkmen market.

The parties confirmed their mutual interest in continuing dialogue and expanding practical cooperation.

During the visit, the ambassador also toured the production site where modern vessels for various purposes are being built.
