International applicants have been reminded of the deadlines for admission to universities in Belarus

The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus reminds foreign citizens and stateless persons of the admission schedule for the country's higher education institutions. The relevant dates are established by Resolution No. 32 of the Ministry of Education, dated February 12, 2026.

Foreign citizens and stateless persons temporarily staying or residing in Belarus may submit documents for admission—on either a state-funded or fee-paying basis—under international agreements by July 17. Those completing final assessments for fee-based preparatory courses must submit their documents by August 1. For applicants seeking admission based on an interview assessing proficiency in the language of instruction (full-time study), documents are accepted until October 15; for distance learning programs, there is no deadline for document submission.

Foreign citizens permanently residing outside Belarus who wish to study under a grant should keep the application deadline—July 17—in mind. Candidate selection is conducted in accordance with Resolution No. 646 of the Council of Ministers, dated September 7, 2018.

We would like to specifically remind citizens of Ukraine and stateless persons who previously resided in Ukraine and have arrived in Belarus to obtain a residence permit that, for state-funded studies, applications are accepted until July 29, and enrollment takes place by July 30. For correspondence study programs at agricultural universities, the schedule has been shifted to November–December. For fee-based admission under the terms established for citizens of Belarus, the acceptance of documents and enrollment take place until October 15.

Prospective students are advised to check the websites of their chosen educational institutions in advance for up-to-date information on available places and entrance examinations.
