On July 3, a photo exhibition showcasing the achievements of Chinese modernization and a thematic seminar were held at the "Archabil" hotel in Ashgabat to mark the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC). According to Xinhua, the events were attended by more than 60 representatives from public, diplomatic, and expert circles in China and Turkmenistan.

The photo exhibition was organized by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Turkmenistan in collaboration with the Almaty bureau of the Xinhua News Agency. The exposition featured around 30 photographs and comprised four thematic sections: "The Historic Leap of Chinese Modernization," "High-Quality Development," "People's Well-being, Culture, and Ecology," and "Youth Exchanges."

Chinese Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ji Shumin noted that the exhibition features rich content and a clear thematic structure, showcasing the achievements the Chinese people have attained at various historical stages under the leadership of the CPC.

Chinar Rustemova, Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO and former Ambassador of Turkmenistan to China, spoke about the history of the party’s formation and its role in ensuring China’s stable development, economic security, and peaceful progress over the course of more than a century. According to her, during a trip to China in 2023, she visited the country's rural areas, where she observed the work of local schools, village improvement efforts, and greening programs, and saw firsthand the scale of the changes that had taken place. She also characterized the CPC as the driving force behind China’s political and economic system, fostering the country’s steady modernization and development, and highlighted China’s contribution to global modernization processes through the sharing of experience with other nations.

Jennet Ovekova, a member of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan’s Committee on Legislation and Norms, stated that such events foster mutual understanding between the peoples of the two countries and strengthen cooperation at the cultural and humanitarian levels, thereby contributing to the development of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and China.
