This spring, another stage of scientific research and restoration work on historical and cultural monuments was carried out in Turkmenistan. The work was conducted by Turkmenistan’s National Directorate for the Protection, Study, and Restoration of Historical and Cultural Monuments. Deputy Prime Minister B. Seyidova reported on this at a meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan.
In parallel, a digital database of the country's historical monuments is being created using advanced technologies and in collaboration with foreign scientists.
To promote national heritage among the youth, a special event was organized during the Culture Week held in Balkan velayat, focusing on the study of the architectural design of a medieval mosque discovered by archaeologists.In addition, a scientific-methodological seminar was held in the field at the "Ancient Dehistan" State Historical and Cultural Reserve.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that great attention is paid in the country to the study, preservation, revival, and popularization of the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people.In this regard, the Head of State instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to continue work on restoring historical and cultural monuments and explaining the significance of the national heritage to the youth, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
