The price of gold fell by more than 12% in June, and on Tuesday, the precious metal dropped below the 4 thousand USD -per-troy-ounce mark, reaching its lowest level in nearly eight months, reports the Kazinform news agency.

The decline in the price of gold continues amidst market expectations and persistent uncertainty in the Middle East. Analysts predict that the downward trend may persist, with the period of falling prices potentially extending into a fourth consecutive month.

Investors are also awaiting the release of the monthly US employment report. These data could provide new signals regarding the future course of monetary policy and influence the dynamics of global gold prices.
