Winners of the Turkmenistan Rally-Raid Championship determined

The Turkmenistan Rally-Raid Championship brought together the country's top drivers and showcased the high level of development of domestic motor sports. The two-day event took place on June 27–28 on courses laid out across the Dashoguz and Ahal velayas. This was reported by the "Golden Age" online newspaper.

The tournament was organized by the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Physical Culture and Sports, the country's Motor Sports Federation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan.

The total length of the race course, laid out across the Karakum Desert, was 358 km. The route was divided into two speed stages: the first special stage covered 181.32 km, and the second, 61.43 km. Teams representing the country's Motorsport Federation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Road Transport of Turkmenistan participated in the race.

Following two days of competition, the winners and medalists in the overall standings were determined.

First place went to Bayram Annagulyyev, an athlete representing the Automobile Sports Federation of Turkmenistan, who completed the course in a Nissan Patrol in 3 hours, 39 minutes, and 56 seconds.

The silver medalist of the championship was Merdan Toylyev, representing the country's Ministry of Motor Transport, who finished in a Nissan Patrol with a time of 3 hours, 46 minutes, and 1 second.

Third place went to Charyyar Charyyarov, an officer of the Ahal velayat Police Department, who covered the distance in a Toyota Hilux in 4 hours and 2 minutes.
