The mosque being built in the town of Arkadag will be named "Arkadagyň Ruhy metjidi" (Spirituality of Arkadag). The decision was unanimously made by elders at a meeting held following Friday prayers, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

The initiative to name the mosque was put forward taking into account numerous proposals from the population and in recognition of the merits of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in the construction of the new city.
