“Real” Madrid has extended its contract with German defender Antonio Rüdiger until June 2027, the club's press service announced.

The 33-year-old has been playing for “Real” since 2022. During this time, he has won the Champions League, the Spanish Championship, the Spanish Cup and Super Cup, as well as two UEFA Super Cups. Before joining the Madrid club, Rüdiger played for “Chelsea”, where he won the Champions League, Europa League, and FA Cup. He also previously played for “Stuttgart” and “Roma”.

The defender was named in the German national team's roster for the World Cup, which is taking place from June 11 to July 19 in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Rüdiger has made 83 appearances and scored three goals for the national team.
