American technology companies are ready to cooperate with Turkmenistan in the field of artificial intelligence, US Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy Sarah Rogers stated at a press briefing.

"American tech companies are very keen to build and collaborate, and major American investors see artificial intelligence as the future," she said.

She said the topic of AI and data centers came up in nearly every conversation during her trip to Central Asia, including in talks with senior ministers in each country in the region.

Rogers expressed satisfaction with Turkmenistan's interest in the technology, noting that AI has the potential to transform approaches to business and the education system.

Rogers' visit to Turkmenistan is part of a regional tour that also includes India, Nepal, and Uzbekistan. The trip aims to develop trade diplomacy, preserve cultural heritage, and promote digital freedom and innovation.
