Representative of a Turkmen Company Participates in SPIEF 2026

From 3 to 6 June 2026, the 29th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2026) was held at the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Centre in St. Petersburg, bringing together thousands of participants from dozens of countries, including representatives of government bodies, international organisations, and the business community. Among the guests of the Forum, by invitation of the Roscongress Foundation and with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo, was a representative of one of Turkmenistan’s largest construction companies.

As part of the Forum programme, the representative of “Ojar Aziya” attended the plenary session featuring the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, and the Vice President of the People’s Republic of China.

The business programme also included participation in a working lunch with Maria Zakharova, Director of the Information and Press Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, during which current issues on the international agenda, as well as economic and business cooperation matters, were discussed.

On the sidelines of the Forum, contacts were exchanged and prospects for cooperation were discussed with representatives of Russian and international businesses, including Wildberries, Agalarov Development, Hongqi Auto, the China Overseas Development Association (CODA), as well as members of the media community. In addition, B2B meetings were held with representatives of the business community and partners of the Roscongress Foundation.

Alongside the business programme, participants of the Forum visited the State Hermitage Museum and the Peterhof Museum-Reserve, gaining insight into the cultural heritage of Russia’s “cultural capital”.

SPIEF is one of the world’s leading international platforms for discussing economic development, investment, and business cooperation. Often referred to as the “Russia’s Davos”, the Forum annually brings together heads of state, leaders of international organisations, business representatives, and members of the expert community from around the world.
