Specialists from the Children's Library of Turkmenistan held a lesson in Gokdere

Specialists from the B. Amanova State Children's Library of Turkmenistan recently held a lesson on "Nature is Our Home" for children vacationing at the Demiryolchi (Railwayman) Children's Health Center in the resort town of Gökdere. This was reported on the Ministry of Culture's website.

The meeting was timed to coincide with World Environment Day.

Librarians told the children about Turkmenistan's diverse and unique natural environment. Currently, the country has state nature reserves that protect and restore biodiversity, particularly rare plant and animal species listed in the Red Data Book of Turkmenistan.

Turkmenistan was one of the first countries to join the UN environmental conventions, which serve as global guarantees for the preservation of the planet's rich natural environment for future generations.
