The Moscow State Academic Theatre "Russian Song" hosted the grand opening of the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation.

According to the press service of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Moscow, the event was attended by representatives of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, employees of Russian cultural institutions, foreign diplomats, representatives of the business community of both countries, as well as scientists and cultural figures.

A representative delegation from Turkmenistan arrived in Moscow, including popular artists, opera soloists, pop performers, and leading music and dance groups.

The theater's foyer featured an exhibition of national jewelry, museum treasures, and works of decorative and applied art from the collections of the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan and the Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan. Guests were particularly interested in traditional women's clothing, jewelry, hand-embroidered items, and carpets.

Turkmen artists presented examples of folk, classical, and pop art – national vocal numbers, dances, and virtuoso performances of folk melodies on authentic instruments.

Ceremony participants noted that such events are in keeping with the traditions of Turkmen-Russian humanitarian cooperation and contribute to strengthening the friendship between the two peoples.
