The delegation of Turkmenistan, led by Deputy Chairman of the “Turkmengaz” state concern Kemal Durdyev, is taking part in the Baku Energy Week, which takes place in the Azerbaijani capital from June 1 to 3. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

The forum is dedicated to issues of green energy, energy security, and the development of the oil and gas sector.

Within the framework of the event, Durdyev held a bilateral meeting with Elshad Nasirov, Vice President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). The parties praised the existing energy cooperation between the two countries, discussed new areas of collaboration, and reaffirmed the importance of consistently developing their strategic partnership, according to the statement.
