Raising a healthy, happy, and patriotic generation is one of the key objectives of Turkmenistan's state policy. This is stated in the congratulatory message from the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, addressed to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of International Children's Day. The text of the message is reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

“Children are the beautiful flowers of life, the pride of our hearts, the adornment of our homes,” the message says.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that the number of kindergartens, schools, sports, and recreational centers in the country is growing year after year. Mothers who have raised eight or more children are annually awarded the honorary title "Ene mähri," and large families are provided with comfortable apartments.

The National Leader also noted the significant role of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, whose activities are based on the principles of humanism.

The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty recalled that Turkmenistan has ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child and closely cooperates with UNICEF, and the country's achievements in protecting children's rights are receiving international recognition.
