National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed deep condolences to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Çalyk Holding group of companies, Ahmet Çalyk, in connection with the death of his father, Mahmud Çalyk, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

Mahmud Çalyk was a prominent entrepreneur and a well-known figure in Türkiye’s textile industry. "May his soul rest in peace and may he rest in peace," said Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, addressing words of support to the businessman and his family.

Following the centuries-old customs of the Turkmen people, in connection with the death of the father of the head of Çalyk Holding, a verse was read with a prayer for the repose of the soul of the deceased.

Ahmet Çalyk expressed his sincere gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people for his support in connection with the grievous loss and assured that he would make every effort to make a worthy contribution to the implementation of large-scale projects in Turkmenistan.
