The President of Turkmenistan congratulated the participants of the international forum "White City of Ashgabat"

Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a heartfelt congratulation to the participants of the XXV International Forum "White City Ashgabat," which will be held in the capital of Turkmenistan from May 24 to 25.

"The widespread celebration of Ashgabat City Day on May 25th brings pride to the capital's residents and the entire Turkmen nation. It has become a noble tradition to hold an international exhibition and conference on this occasion. "I sincerely wish the international exhibition and conference success, aimed at widely presenting to the world the high achievements in various spheres of life of the capital, which occupies a worthy place among the developed cities of the planet!" the congratulatory message reads.

The President expressed confidence that the forum will showcase the white-marble capital's successes in innovative urban development and architecture, creating a comfortable urban environment, and providing public services to the population using modern digital platforms. The forum will become an important business platform for parties interested in cooperation in urban development, and will also serve to further develop the beautiful capital and broadly explore best practices. In the era of the Renaissance of a new era of a powerful state, the prestige of the magnificent white-marble Ashgabat as a developing city is steadily growing.

The capital's remarkable achievements in all areas have received wide recognition internationally. In recent years, Ashgabat has been included in the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Creative Cities Network in the Design category, accepted as a member of the World Tourism Cities Federation, and declared a "City of New Sporting Opportunities of the Commonwealth" within the CIS. Last year, the inclusion of white-marble Ashgabat in UNESCO's Global Network of Learning Cities was another significant event, demonstrating the country's capital's important role as a major scientific, educational, and cultural center.

"The heart of our Motherland—white marble Ashgabat—has become a city of peace, friendship, and brotherhood, a venue for major international forums, exhibitions, and many other events... We face important challenges in furthering the dynamic development and comprehensive improvement of the capital. "I am confident that Ashgabat will continue to steadily strengthen its prestige as a model of well-being and prosperity," the President concluded, wishing everyone good health, a prosperous and happy life, and great success in their efforts to further the prosperity and beauty of the Turkmen capital, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
