Young people from Turkmenistan took part in the 22nd International Youth Cultural Festival "Lead the Tide, Embrace the World," which took place on May 14 in Beijing.

The festival opened at Chengxin Square at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Turkmen students studying at this university, with the assistance of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in China, actively participated in the forum, proudly representing their national culture and traditions.

Turkmenistan's national pavilion was unveiled at the large-scale forum, which brought together representatives from over 100 countries. The exhibit, prepared by Turkmen students, was a vivid embodiment of the country's open-door policy and cultural dialogue. A presentation of the country's achievements and national cuisine was also organized, allowing guests to experience Turkmen hospitality.

The pavilion was visited by numerous foreign diplomats, representatives of public organizations, and the international student community.

During the creative portion of the program, Turkmen students performed national dances and songs for the audience.

The day before, the "Symposium on High-Quality Development of Higher Energy Education within the Framework of the Belt and Road Initiative" was held in the conference hall of the China University of Petroleum. Turkmen students also participated in the event, delivering presentations.
